I'm open to research collaborations and internship mentoring for highly motivated individuals who are excited about embodied AI and robotics research.

For students interested in the Research/Engineer Intern role at AIRoA, please contact me though my contact email. The internship provides the opportunity to work with an international and cross-functional team on large-scale robotic dataset construction and cutting-edge VLA research.

Potential themes include:

  • Transferring human skills to robots in data collection and robot learning
  • Dexterous manipulation and control
  • Vision systems (e.g., SLAM) for handheld gripper-based data collection (UMI/YUBI)
  • 3D geometric and appearance modeling for robotic simulation
  • Leverage LLMs/VLMs for robotic data curation and annotations
  • VLA and world modeling
  • Efficient robotic data collection and task definition

Over the past years, students and collaborators I mentored have published their research findings at major conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR.
